I had a REALLY good summer ‘vacation’. Quotes around the word vacation, cause a lot of it was still work related but thankfully I have the kind of work that fits in with my natural preferences so it doesn’t feel like ‘work-work’.

It feels like curiosity, exploration, research, fascination and adventure … it feels FUN!

And thankfully I have clients, colleagues and friends all over the place so I usually have lovely people I can connect with too.

Hey, Remember to Pack Me

Ahhhh, Roadtrip!

Ahhhh, Roadtrip!

This month I did two trips. The first trip I wrote about in my Why I Attended Contact in the Desert post.   My second trip was an extension of that vibe — attendance at two workshops at James Gilliland’s ECETI Ranch at the base of beautiful Mount Adams in Troutlake, Washington (a weekend with South African researcher and author Michael Tellinger and then James’ Ambassador training). In between I spent in and around gorgeous Oregon, in Bend and Hood River. Thankfully on my second trip I had J.J. my Yorkie with me (he would curl up in the suitcase each morning – his way of saying ‘hey, don’t forget to bring me’). A little bit of home that keeps me grounded and loved.

Ever since I was a kid I’ve had a fascination with archeology and ancient cultures (I named one of my SHIFT-IT moves ‘Archeology of Beliefs’ … as a homage to that early fascination). Michael’s work (at least the archeology related part) focuses on a massive series of ancient ruins in South Africa where he lives and speculations as to their origins and purpose. I recommend his Gaiam TV interviews, if you haven’t seen them and are curious. His more recent work is focused on our current times, particularly on our political and economic systems and how we might shift them for greater representation, health and fairness. So his weekend was a great mix of all those wide-ranging topics.

James Gilliland’s Ambassador Training was a much more ‘roll up your meta-physical sleeves’ affair.   Where we were introduced to several spiritual protocols to cleanse negative influences and promote positive ones.  His ranch is a mecca for UFO/UAP (unexplained aerial phenomena). And, for those of you who keep asking me if I saw any … yup, I did thank you very much (several light spheres with the naked eye and orbs with the aid of night vision goggles).

As I wrote in my Contact in the Desert post, I’ve had my own UAP experiences, in my living room no less! So attending The Ambassador training is part of my own ongoing quest to understand what happened and it’s significance, if any. I always thought, Hollywood brainwashing I suppose, that ‘ships’ literally had to be metallic. Turns out that lots of this unexplained phenomenon is light based.   Which is what all of my own personal experiences have been to date … as well as feeling/energetic based.

James’ workshop involved various meditative and communication techniques with advanced energies. His surroundings (think basic … like San Juan Island basic in the 70s) was a welcome retreat from my usual downtown living. Good water, organic food (most from his own garden), beautiful natural surroundings — all were natural vibe enhancers. Was lovely to relax and unplug from my usual world and plug into a world that is always there underneath all the modern day racket.

person-spiritualThe meditations were intriguing, educational and useful, especially the third one we did on the second morning. I always feel energy but on this particular one the kundalini flow I’ve encountered the last few years kicked in. My body was bent over to my right and I could feel all sorts of stuff happening on the right side of my physical and etheric bodies.

Whatever is going on over there is a continuation of energetic work from other episodes.   Some sort of block and/or alignment is being worked out. It’s a fascinating process and one I never know when the next episode will be. I have a sense its about working out the kinks in my system so more even energy flow can happen. But that’s all I get at least at the conscious level.

Was really a magical month. I’m returning refreshed and happy. And feeling especially enthusiastic about my work that is more energy focused —- SHIFT-IT, BodyTalk and my painting. Diving back into BodyTalk (yes, will have the info page refreshed soon, after this season’s regular courses are launched). And curious about when the next kundalini bout will happen.   Knowing I can’t force it, it just comes when it wants to. I have a feeling that this is going to be a really interesting fall.
