Leaving for Santa Fe, NM

My trip to Santa Fe to present at the International Forum of Visual Practitioners is right around the corner.

I’m very excited to have been asked to come and speak to my colleagues from around the world who will be gathering for this cool event.

And I’m also very much looking forward to seeing Santa Fe as this will be my first trip to New Mexico, a place I’ve been wanting to visit for a while now.

The organizers of this year’s event have chosen a wonderful resort to host us all at, by the looks of it.

Its called Bishops Resort Lodge and Spa.  The name dates back to 1853 when a young missionary priest was made the first bishop of the American Southwest – the resort is what was once his own lodge, his home base from where he ran his ‘Desert Diocese’. History of Bishops Lodge.

I believe this is the 10th Annual Conference for the International Forum of Visual Practitioners. And this year’s theme is “Growing Visual Language: Engaging Individuals, Groups and Communities’.  As a pioneer in Graphic Coaching (using interactive visual methods with individuals, couples and business partners) I’ve been asked to speak on my coaching and SHIFT-IT work.  Share with my colleagues what I’ve been doing in this deep and more intimate application of our graphics work.

I’ve designed an agenda for my presentation that will not only share with them what I’ve been doing in this unique niche, but also have them experience a taste of it for themselves.  I will demonstrate several graphic moves from my SHIFT-IT Method and assist everyone present in creating their own Personal Vision (I call it a Magnetism Map).  And, I’ll also be talking about how to move through the natural resistance to their Vision, so they can more quickly and efficiently align and allow what they want into their lives.  Basically sharing with them some powerful Law of Attraction concepts that should open some eyes and open some energy up in our already very creative group.

Here is a photo of the agenda chart I have prepared for my opening.  My colleagues are a very talented, creative and unique bunch of people.  So I’m looking forward to doing a hopefully very dynamic presentation for them.  As they already know how to do graphics themselves – this will free me up to really get into The Law of Attraction material and explain and show them how this work is so important for them to be able to manifest their own Visions and to assist them in their work with their own clients.  I’m looking forward to ‘pushing the envelope’ so to speak – as I will be able to do things with this group that are perhaps more direct and innovative than I am able to do with some of the other groups I speak and present to. So this will make it unusually interesting and fresh for me too.  I’m really looking forward to it!

When I return from my trip, I’ll post some shots of the other graphic tools I will use in my presentation and also some photos from the event with my old and new friends and colleagues that I will be connecting with.  So, wish me well. After the conference I will be on a road trip back up to Canada … so it will be a while until I post again on the blog.
