Spent a very pleasant day last Friday with six members of the Heritage Branch / Ministry of Tourism, Sport and the Arts.
They commissioned me to do a private in-house training for them … an abbreviated one-day version of my Meeting Graphics 101 workshop.
We covered as much of the basics as we could in just one day:
- history of the graphic facilitation / graphic recording field
- four main applications of the work
- basic shapes, lettering and titles
- basic icons and imagery
- demos of graphic facilitation
- practice dyads
- and plenty of examples, samples, resource lists, recommended resources, etc
We had a great day! Here are a few snapshots:
Graphic recording and graphic facilitation are very effective tools for many different types of meetings and group gatherings – any place that it is necessary to do collaborative, group participation in a public, documented way.
