Bill Harris, if you don’t know him, is the President of Centerpointe Research. They are the folks who create and sell The Holosync Solution – a brainwave meditation aid.
This technology is an ‘awareness’ tool, in that it makes one more aware of the ‘schtick’ one is playing in life (we all have schtick).
Meditation is about seeing yourself and ultimately what you are thinking and how you are reacting to things. When you see that – you can choose to do it differently (and get different results in your life). Meditation and Holosync are VERY compatible with my SHIFT-IT approach and I’ve been using and recommending it for years (see previous blog post).
Anyway… Bill Harris has an excellent blog and writes often VERY LONG blog posts (I love his writing but the length of his posts drives some folks nuts… me, I just think ‘geez, this guy is generous with his knowledge and is really trying to help folks’ … I’m impressed by him and a loyal fan).
FYI, Bill just wrote one of his very long blog posts… and I wanted to bring it to your attention cause I think its great. Yes, the first chunk of it is an infomercial of sorts for Holosync (why shouldn’t he promote his own product – its good!). So hang in there and keep reading if that bugs you – he eventually gets to some very informative stuff about ‘why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer’.
Lots of very interesting tidbits about research into how to change your momentum in your life if you happen to be on the poorer end of things. And how to move out of learned helplessness into learned powerfulness (which is what my SHIFT-IT coaching stuff is all about too!). Also good stuff on neuroplasticity… which fascinates me because it proves that we do have the power to change our brains as we change our minds and focus!
