Whew, we cover a lot of physical and energetic terrain in this one!
Sophie is a talented painter and muralist, who came for a Sit with Christina, after seeing a few of my YouTube Self Inquiry videos.
A year ago, she started her own independent business. However, she’s been noticing (and judging) her business flow. So, we turned to Self Inquiry to see what’s happening.
We quickly encountered her Left Hip. A pain that she intuitively knew wasn’t medical, that began (not coincidentally) with the launch of her venture. A psychosomatic blockage to being independent and moving forward.
Bringing friendliness to her Hip, she realized she’s conflicted – Part of her wants to be seen, and Part of her doesn’t. A classic visibility dilemma.
We make gentle contact with her vulnerable Exile, who needs non-judgmental freedom.
Very quickly, energy ignites in her torso (turns out Sophie, like myself, has active kundalini). Moving rapidly up her spine, she reports discomfort in both her heart and throat. We take some kindly time, building more trust.
Then her Intellect and Doer, both Controllers, go on the defence.
Everything likes respect and honoring, including ancient survival mechanisms. Tears come, as Sophie realizes how her habit is to harshly judge her Mind.
Her energy leaps again, and suddenly she’s in the unfamiliar territory of lightness of being.
A recent memory suddenly arises, where she didn’t charge enough for a private commission. We discover a Noble Child, putting the needs of others before her own. Rescuing this dear one so she can finally play, unapologetically.
Then, a balancing of the Left and Right hemispheres. Coupling the masculine qualities of practicality, order, strength and reliability, with the feminine qualities of spontaneity, intuition, play and softness.
Then, ancestral healing with her beloved grandparents. Letting go of a heavy little cloud of disloyalty.
We end with Mind finding its sky nature, and the recognition that her art, like mine, transmits.
